The stream based SCM is an excellent article Mike....It has changed the whole focus of branching models for vendor specific mods.....

How are you doing with Theory of Constraints?

I am going through TOC and 6 Sigma for IT management.....
By the way do you have any good articles on how to effectively perform a System Map of the existing processes... i believe the knowledge of that would help in implementing TOC to it....

I will provide you with a copy of a system map for CM - you will see how it's done from the example.

I had seen the System Map for CM which you prepared for Signature... but I don't have a copy of that....are you referring to the same doc?
I was reading through the 6-sigma for ITSM wherein I landed on this very interesting piece of information....
The customer focus section of 6-sigma states that customer surveys do not help in gauging the real satisfaction or needs of the customer (CSS is clearly not an option then)....what matters is how does your improved customer connection help you in getting more business.....
My question is what would be the best way to link the CSS measurements to actual customer needs and requirements....?
