Yes, this is an ITIL site, but I have lived most of my career in production suffering the competing and conflicting priorities between development and production support. Indeed, my current job is in development, so I can see things from both sides. For that reason I wanted to have a software engineering topic area where the challenges can be discussed (and solutions, when possible) provided.
